On september 3rd I will marry my fiancée in Ulan Bator - Mongolia.
In the end it all comes different then planned.
In the last 5 years it was so clear to me that I will marry a chinese woman one day. The chinese culture grew so close to me it was just clear.
And now in 2 weeks I will marry a mongolian girl in Ulan Bator. And I am happy about it. I am sure there's no chinese girl that could make me happy like she does.
I spent the last months finding out about mongolian culture, history and traditions. In my heart I will always love the chinese culture and keep my chinese friends, I will keep doing Tai Chi and still LOVE Hongkong and Beijing. But my heart, my family, my life will be much more mongolian then chinese then. And I look forward to it
We planned to only make a very small zivil wedding, just sign the contracts and get the papers, maybe go eat dinner then. Because we plan to make a second wedding next year in switzerland - the place we will live at least the next couple years.
But I didnt count in my wife's family and I didn't count in my personal wishes. The longer I was thinking about the wedding, the more I wanted to actually have a real celebration. We have no money for a big thing, but hey... its my wedding! My parents will come, i will meed my wife's family the first time in my life, I will see mongolia the first time and I will marry a mongolian woman! So its the least to have a traditional ceremony, have a dinner with the family... and with this comes the need of wedding rings, wedding robe, wedding suit, a photographer.. and there you go.
So wish me good luck! I hope I will find time to actually explore my new "second home" a bit and take some pictures I can show you.
I'll keep you updated how it went and.. when my wife can move to me.

I hope you will join me there. It would be a pleasure to keep in touch and share artwork and get feedback.
Have a wonderful spring,
